Wuxia Novelist: A Writer's Blog

Wuxia Novelist: A Writer's Blog looks at the broad range of issues encountered by me as a novelist working in the Chinese wuxia (heroic fiction) genre. I have, however, a very broad background and this blog will not narrowly focus on one genre of literature, rather I will consider books, movies, and ideas that relate to my life as a writer. It's out!!! My collection of short stories, Strange Tales from The Dragon Gate Inn has hit Amazon -

This is a collection of the short stories that I wrote between time I recieved my doctorate in Chinese history and when I began the novel-length fiction writing that led to the publication of Dream of the Dragon Pool - A Daoist Quest. The stories are fantasy, ghost, horror tales dedicated to and inspired by the great 18th century Chinese fantasy writer, Pu Songling and his Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio.

Perfect for late night reading!
